Our Hyperion Roses: A charitable adventure

One of our company values is, “We value the cultures and support the communities where we operate.”

Hyperion Roses on Vehicle In 2019, we decided to put that value into action by participating in an upcoming solidarity race dedicated to women, the Trophée Roses des Sables.

The event is an annual rally raid in Morocco that supports several charities around the globe. The participants — or “Roses” as they are called — collect supplies and funds for organizations that benefit women and children before embarking on a 5,000-kilometer journey through the desert of southern Morocco.

We formed our team, the Hyperion Roses, in 2019 and with the outstanding support of Hyperion as a corporate sponsor, as well as the support of our families, friends and colleagues, we raised the necessary funds to participate in this year’s rally in October. We also collected a truck full of supplies that we donated to the charities at the meeting place before the start of the desert rally.

  • A 5,000€ donation to Pink Ribbon, a foundation that supports breast cancer patients and survivors
  • 5,165€ to a women's charity in Rissani, Morocco
