Biju Varghese

Senior Vice President & CTO

Biju Varghese leads Hyperion’s Global Business Units and R&D functions, with responsibility for enterprise and business unit strategy, global growth initiatives, and the company’s innovation and technology agenda. Since joining Hyperion in 1999, he has held leadership roles across Business Unit management, Product Management, R&D, and Application Development and has been a member of the company’s executive leadership team since 2013.

 

Biju holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the National Institute of Technology Calicut, India. After earning his bachelor’s degree, Biju began his career as a Machine Design Engineer with Robert Bosch GmbH. Following completion of his Ph.D., he joined General Electric’s Superabrasives business in Worthington, Ohio.

 

Biju is a citizen of the USA and is based at the Company’s corporate offices in Dublin, Ohio.
