Grade H10F Now Tested as Non-Cytotoxic

An accredited laboratory recently tested Hyperion Materials & Technologies' cemented tungsten carbide grade H10F as non-cytotoxic according to EN ISO 10993-5:2009 Biological evaluation of medical devices — Part 5: Tests for in vitro cytotoxicity. Use of our grade H10F, long considered the industry benchmark for cemented carbide quality and consistency, makes it easier for you to comply with upcoming cytotoxicity regulations for dental burs and other medical devices

 

In addition, we also manufacture cemented carbide and diamond solutions that have been tested as compliant with other water, food, and pharmaceutical standards. This includes the following:

  • FDA
  • EC 1935/2004
  • USP 87 Cytotoxicity.
