Hyperion Materials & Technologies manufactures metal bonded micron diamond powder in three grades (economy, standard, and premium), each of which is created for specific applications and conditions. Our standard SJK-5 diamond is used for polishing applications and lapping of glass, wafers, and polycrystalline diamonds (PCD), among other uses. Our synthetic diamond powder is crafted to resist impact and fracturing in the toughest conditions. Coatings are also available to enhance performance in the most intense conditions.

Hyperion Metal Bond Micron SJK-5 Diamond Powder Hyperion's SJK-5 diamond powder is a monocrystal, diamond powder used in slurries and suspensions. It has tightly controlled size, shape, and surface properties. This product utilizes tough, blocky diamonds with high impact resistance. SJK-5 diamond achieves excellent results in glass, wafer, and polycrystalline diamond (PCD) lapping and polishing applications. Available with 56% or 30% Ni coating.
