INDEX 2026: The World’s Leading Nonwovens Exhibition

May 19 - May 22, 2026

What is Index?

INDEX 2026 is an international exhibition dedicated to the nonwovens industry. The event will take place from May 19 to 22, 2026, at Palexpo in Geneva, Switzerland. Held every three years and organized in Geneva since 1984, the 2026 edition will mark the 15th time the show has been hosted in the city. The exhibition is focused on the latest developments in nonwovens materials and their applications across a wide range of industrial sectors.

More than 600 exhibitors from 40 countries are expected to participate in INDEX 2026. The event brings together companies and professionals from across the nonwovens value chain, including suppliers, manufacturers, converters, engineers, and decision-makers working in areas such as filtration, transport, medical, geotextiles, packaging, construction, cleaning, and hygiene. As a result, it serves as an important meeting point for organizations involved in materials development, production technology, and process improvement.

In addition to the exhibition itself, INDEX 2026 will include workshops, seminars, tutorials, and product presentations. These activities give attendees the opportunity to follow current developments in nonwovens manufacturing, explore new applications, and better understand the technical and operational trends shaping the sector.

What will you find at Hyperion’s booth at Index 2026?

Where is Index in 2026? How do I get there?

Reaching Palexpo from central Geneva is straightforward, which is one of the reasons INDEX 2026 is such a practical event for international attendees. Palexpo states that the venue is about 10 minutes from the city center and easily accessible by train and bus.

  • From Geneva-Cornavin, trains to Genève-Aéroport run in about 7 minutes, and from the airport rail station Palexpo is roughly a 10-minute walk. Visitors preferring bus connections can use several TPG lines that stop directly at “Palexpo,” including lines 5, 8, 50, 55, 58, and 59, while lines 28, 54, and 66 serve “Palexpo-Halle 7.” This gives attendees multiple ways to reach the venue whether they are staying downtown, near the lake, or close to the main rail station.
  • From Geneva International Airport, the journey is even simpler. Palexpo sits immediately beside the airport and the official venue guidance notes that it is only about a 10-minute walk from the terminal area. The airport also offers direct access to public transport, car rental, and taxi services, so visitors arriving on international flights can reach the exhibition quickly without complicated transfers.

If you are staying in approved accommodation in Geneva, it is also worth asking for the Geneva Transport Card, which provides free access to Geneva’s Zone 10 public transport network, including buses, trains, and boats, for the duration of your stay and can even be used from the airport to your accommodation.

For those arriving by car, Palexpo’s P12 parking facility is available 24/7 and includes 1,500 spaces.
