From Prototyping to Production

Hyperion’s CarbiForm™ ready-to-print powder is providing new opportunities for companies who want to manufacture complex tungsten carbide forms or shapes with internal cavities.   Through Hyperion’s Strategic Preferred Partner Agreement with HP, CarbiForm uses HP Metal Jet binder jetting technology to make additive manufactured precision components more accessible to industrial customers worldwide.

With a dedicated HP Metal Jet S100 printer installed in its Barcelona facility, Hyperion supports the development and production of complex, customized tungsten carbide components, from individual prototypes to scalable production volumes.

Advanced Manufacturing for Complex Carbide Components

Tungsten carbide additive manufacturing enables the production of complex geometries and internal features that can be difficult or impractical to achieve through conventional manufacturing methods of tungsten carbide.

Combining HP's binder jetting technology with Hyperion's expertise in tungsten carbide materials, sintering, and finishing opens new possibilities for application-specific, additive-manufactured component designs.

Whether developing a new component or exploring an alternative manufacturing process for an existing design, Hyperion's engineering team can evaluate the feasibility of additive manufacturing with CarbiForm for your specific application requirements.
